• Timur Ivanov, a Russian deputy defense minister, was arrested on charges of corruption and brought before a court in Moscow on Tuesday.¹

• According to a 2022 investigation by the anti-corruption platform founded by Alexei Navalny — the Russian dissident who died in prison earlier this year — Ivanov allegedly funneled millions from the Russian state to his wife, who is reportedly said to have spent the cash in a lavish manner.⁴
